The 2016 Annual Spring Conference

The Annual Spring Conference of the Association of Social and Behavioral Scientists was be held on March 9-12, 2016. The Conference marked the 81st  Meeting which convened in the Marriott Hotel  at 200 East Amite Street in Jackson, Mississippi.  Research and other scholarly papers were presented by professionals in the academy from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Washington, DC.  Additionally, competitive research presentations  were made by graduate and undergraduate students.  The Conference Theme was "Voices of a Global Black Life in American and Beyond, prepared presenters to capture and convey a variety of experiences existing in institutions and communities from across the United States and the worldBecause the theme was rooted in the social and behavioral sciences, presentations represented a broad, multidisciplinary focus applicable to relevant issues.
The Association extends heartfelt appreciations to the team responsible for planning and implementing local arrangement activities and events for the Conference.  Additionally, special thanks to the Program Committee members for their work in providing an agenda of  scholarly presentations from professionals as well as students.  Below are lists of the Program and Local Arrangements Committee members.
