The 2011 Annual Spring Conference

The Annual Spring Conference of the Association of Social and Behavioral Scientists was be held on March 9-12, 2011. The Conference marked the 76th Meeting which convened in the Regency Hotel and Conference Center in Jackson, Mississippi.  Research and other scholarly papers were presented by professionals in the academy from Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee.  Additionally, competitive research presentations  were made by graduate and undergraduate students.  This year's Conference Theme was "Embracing the Challenges of the 21st Century:  Sustaining Black Social, Educational, Political, and Economical Institutions, attracted numerous ideas and a variety of research proposals that yield more than 40 topics on social issues and planned change.
